Also, we have uploaded a new image set, this time called Valentine. Click through from the pictures below to see the photo pages where you can view the images at different sizes.
Our studio is a lighthouse of magic amongst the rocks and rubble and general detritus of where we are based. Every tree and verge is full of discarded waste and houses proudly display signs of national pride, bursting bin bags and Nationalist parties’ propaganda.

BBC Introducing: Fresh On the Net Sunday 31st January 2010 01.00-03.00
Tom Robinson is playing ‘Virtual Boy’ again on his BBC 6 Music show late Saturday night/early Sunday morning (between 1 and 3 AM GMT). He’s also playing great stuff like Nedry, Her Name Is Calla and Deastro. Tune in. We’ll update with full tracklisting and a Listen Again (works for a week) link on Sunday.
Oh, and we’ll be on the podcast too, so get subscribed for that for some new and excellent sounds and post nice comments on iTunes, because we’ll be on iTunes for a week and that’s vaguely exciting.
We hope all those in the UK who were able watched the new Arena documentary about Brian Eno on BBC4. We deliberately avoid questions about influences as hearing of our music becomes coloured by knowledge, names and concepts creep tediously then into descriptions of the work and unwelcome and unfavourable comparisons are made, but we shall say at least that the passion for ideas and noises is something we recognise and share.
We are excited at the moment as we’re on something of a run of new material, both restricted to the collective and in collaboration with others. Sound is wonder and there are so many stories.
A new blnd! live session on Mixcloud went up yesterday, a set from Fuzio Radio 93.5. It includes our Crystal Fighters remix and tracks from Bass Clef, Roll Deep, Hybu, VVV and more.
Men’s streetwear company Sturban put regular podcasts and music posts on their blog, as well as doing shoots with artists/producers/DJs like DFRNT. They gave us a little write-up:
Our track ‘A Tragic Error’ has been included in the MP3 mix/compilation Zonoz Presents: Winshield Wiper Mix Vol. 2. Along with Massive Attack, Tunng, Owl City, Coldplay and Beyonce. It’s nothing if not eclectic.
Our remix of ‘Hunger’ by Frankie & The Heartstrings was played on BBC Radio 1 tonight with hilarious pre-amble by Huw Stephens. According to the website: “Huw shakes up a brilliant Frankie & The Heartstrings remix from Golau Glau in the lab”.
